Tapeworms

It’s in the heart of 2018’s summer, settled in the youth cultural center of their hometown, that Margot, Théo and Eliott start composing what will become Funtastic. Soon the atmosphere surrounding them modeled a made-to-measure environment full of vivid colors and all kinds of gym mats. A welcome return to their  roots which gave them confidence to emerge from the usual bass, guitar, drum pattern. Tinged by summer softness, the first songs of this session will soon confront new life experiences. Relatives' loss and personal issues led to major changes for the band members. It all resulted in a simple need : look to the future. Funtastic name symbolize their search for a new horizon charged with nostalgia, bittersweet recklessness and positivity. In 33 minutes, Funtastic brings noisy pop songs into electronic, rock songs into experimental playgrounds and offers synth pop lullabies breaks. On this album, Tapeworms convey forgotten self promises, inner demons, face challenges and bet on luminous outcomes. Debut album Funtastic Released on 25th of September on Cranes Records, Howlin Banana Records and Coypu Records. The Band took part in Let of The Dial in Rotterdam and Levitation France Session.

Poppets

Med två gitarrer och en trummaskin levererar Poppets charmigt naiv och kompromisslös garagepop. Lina och Magnus som bildade duon 2007 och har sedan dess turnerat världen över och släppt flertalet plattor. Förbered er på på en total sugar pop lo-fi explosion!

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best suited entrance is through the scene. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair accessible bathroom. Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events.
