On December 14th, the ghost of Lucia rises again! Join us as we celebrate the release of FIRE LET ME THROUGH, the new album by MICHAELA ÅBERG, together with her band. The album takes you on a journey beginning with a hymn, traveling on a lost, psychedelic rock bus, and settling into a bed of mysterious organ sounds. It’s about relationship stories without endings—caught in the midst of feelings—before anything is resolved. Together with her band, Michaela will attempt to put you into a trance.

Jättedam

The Gothenburg-based band Jättedam is a natural star in the contemporary Swedish prog and psych sky. Live, Jättedam seamlessly moves between improvisation and written material. With their immortal psychedelic pop hits, they ensure no two performances are alike—and no one stays grounded. Music magazine GAFFA has called them “the most interesting psychedelic rock act right now.” In 2023, they released their album “Onda blommor” via the label Gaphals.

DJ S.ED Heads

DJ S.ED Heads, featuring members of the band Sean Edvards, will be the evening’s jukebox. They’ll serve a tasty mix of Brian Jonestown-infused vibes, disco bangers from Ratata, and all the other great music in the world.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
