Ljud & Bild + Guds Pengar

Ljud & Bild

Rooted in the forests of northern Dalsland, Ljud & Bild brings the essence of nature into their lyrics and music. Their sound is best described as psychedelic and shoegaze-inspired, with an undeniable danceable edge. Monotony, repetition, and prominent melodies define their style, often making room for extended, hypnotic instrumental passages. Their music ranges from soft and dreamy to heavy and intense, creating a genre they call “cinematic kraut.”

Members:

  • Karin Pallarp: Guitar, keyboards, vocals
  • Anders Kjellberg: Guitar, keyboards, vocals
  • Erik Ridelius: Keyboards, bass, percussion, vocals
  • Ylva Holmdahl: Drums, percussion

Guds Pengar

Born out of frustration and directionless purpose, Guds Pengar emerged more as a movement than a band. Combining melodic indie rock with raw emotional intensity, they released their highly anticipated second album, "Jag går dit solen skiner," in October. Evelina Nerstrand’s captivating vocals, paired with the band’s inventive instrumentation, create a sound that is both blissful and stirring.

Over the past few years, Guds Pengar has built a loyal fanbase, becoming a crowd favorite. Their debut album, "Granar som flyr staden" (2020), firmly established them as a rising force in Swedish indie rock, earning praise from Popmani, HYMN, GAFFA, P3, DN, and even Britain’s Amazing Radio. Sydsvenskan named them one of Malmö's brightest future prospects.
