Frank Nitt and Dankery Harv, collectively known as Frank n Dank, are Detroit-based Hip-Hop artists known for their collaborations with the legendary producer J Dilla. Their relationship with J Dilla, Also known as Jay Dee, began in the mid-1990s when they were introduced to him through a mutual friend. J Dilla, impressed by their talent, took them under his wing and produced several tracks for them. 

The trio developed a close bond both personally and musically, working together on numerous projects. Their collaboration resulted in classic Hip-Hop tracks that showcased J Dilla’s innovative production skills and Frank n Dank’s lyrical prowess. Their relationship was marked by mutual respect and a shared love for Hip-Hop, leaving a lasting impact on the genre.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
