Elin Piel + Dimming

Elin Piel

Elin Piel is an electronic musician who creates repetitive rhythmic soundscapes through improvisation. Piel takes us by the hand and leads us through dreamy paths and polyrhythmic textures. At times, she rests in bright, shimmering ambient worlds, only to lift off and drift into dark, pulsating clouds of unease the next moment.

In 2022, the album Satsuma Sunday was released on the Japanese label Muzan Editions. In the spring of 2023, Retina was released on Christoffer Berg's label Rhythm Paint, and in the fall of 2023, the full-length album Ingrid Linnea was released on Mystery Circles. The most recent release is the album Vaka, which will be released on August 23 by the Swedish label Northern Electronics.

Dimming

The artist and producer Linn Österberg, who makes music under the alias Dimming, combines atmospheric ambient with electronic elements where the spacious and beautiful meets the darker and more dissonant. Linn is based north of Gothenburg, where she runs a studio in the countryside and has quietly released her music under the radar as Dimming since 2020.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Personal assistants do not need to purchase their own ticket, but we ask you to contact us in advance so we can issue a ticket for the person.
Please note that flashing lights may occur during concerts and events. For questions regarding accessibility email Mia Herman at mia@oceanen.com.
