Fauna

Fauna conveys an organic, psychedelic and danceable experience. The music is a meditative ritual where the listener finds themselves enveloped by rhythms. You are dragged through bushes and thickets by a compelling, volcanic pulse. Time and space lose their meaning in a mind-bending journey through the forest.

Ljud och Bild

The duo Ljud och Bild consisting of Karin Pallarp Nilsson and Anders Kjellberg emerged from the forests of Dalsland. The closeness to nature is present in their lyrics and music. The expression can be described as psychedelic 70s, shoegaze influenced and driven by 80s synths and monotonous bass lines. The songs vary from softly sluggish and dreamy to embracing a more violent expression that sometimes borders on heavy metal. In addition to the romanticism of nature, the music is characterized by suggestiveness and mysticism. The duo usually performs live as a quartet.

Accessibility

The Cultural Center Oceanen is a Q-marked culturally historical building, which is challenging when it comes to accessibility. We do our best to have as many people as possible visit us. When visiting us with mobility aids the best-suited entrance is through the stage. This entrance is accessed via Gathenhielmska trädgården. The entrance is locked, please email us the day before your visit or the latest Friday at 16:00 if you are visiting us during the weekend. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.
